Bruce Boiney has been teaching piano for more than 25 years.  A Suzuki Method specialist, he is one of approximately twelve pianists in the United States to have completed Dr. Shinichi Suzuki’s teacher training program in Japan, where he studied for two years.  Because of it’s emphasis on parental involvement, the method is a natural fit for homeschool families.  Students begin playing by ear to develop listening skills, beautiful sound, and natural technique. Once the foundation is established, reading and theory are carefully built upon it. Bruce’s studio is located in Oldham County, just off I-71 Exit 18.  The program includes individual lessons, group classes, formal solo and duet recitals, student videos, awards, and more. The ideal age for beginning students is 4-7, with current openings in the early afternoon.  For more information, please visit www.suzukipiano.com or contact Bruce at boiney@me.com or (502) 644-7070.
